Chelsea was fabulous - hot, crowded and for a small person like myself it would have been very easy to lose contact with whom ever you were with (I hung on to my hubbies shirt tails for dear life) and this was on a members day. I don't think I would like to go on a public day as my feet were sore from walking around and around, never mind the occasional trampling from larger people.

The Evening Standard garden. This was the overall winner. I agreed with the judges, apart from the bias I had towards the Quarryman's garden which was for butterflies. On this hot May day I would have been happy to sit at the far end and watch the water flow down over the stainless steel waterfall for hours.

Impressions of HighGrove. I liked the far end with the stone seat the best, but the wheel (a mini potager) in the middle with vegetables growing interspersed with a group of flowers was good.

The Marquee. This is a photograph of me inside the main marquee, I'm trying my best to look cool standing beside the bougainvillea.

Scotch on the Rocks. This little garden appealed to my hubby, I think he was trying to tell me something, but it was so warm on the day that we were both in need of a drink.

How big does your garden grow? Do the growers eat them or don't these large vegetables taste as nice as the smaller ones? The people who set this lot up must have steady hands.

If only my garden, and my bank account, were this big, I would have taken this garden home with me if I could.

Wyevale's Garden. These are the sort of pictures you get if you are small like me. I had to crouch down to take photos from other peoples knee level.
